Harmony Breakthrough Finance Company Limited is a wholly owned – Nigerian finance company licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Harmony Breakthrough is an innovative financial services company that provides asset and business finance, local purchase order and contract financing, inventory and trade financing, SMEs financing, and other first – rate financial services to clients.
Our clients include manufacturers, contractors, educational institutions, SMEs, stockists of FMCG, publishers, traders and start – ups.

The Board of Directors consists of seasoned professionals with proven integrity.
Pastor Patrick Olufemi Balogun is the Chairman of the Board while the other non- executive members are Dr. Mukaila Abiodun Gbadamosi, Mr. Zakariya Lanre Anofi, Dr. Ademola Quadri Adetunji.
Mr. Kazeem Ige is the Managing Director / Chief Executive while Mr. Adebanjo Samson Owoade is the Execuitve Director of Administration and Corporate Services, and Mr. Ganiyu Alade Rufai is the Executive Director, Finance & Accounts.

BOARD PROFILE
PATRICK OLUFEMI BALOGUN – Chairman:
Pastor Patrick Olufemi Balogun is an authority in the fields of finance and accounting. With his extensive knowledge and experience, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Chartered Certified Accountants in 1985, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) in 2012; and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, London in 1979.
In 1973, he commenced his academic and professional education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Geology from the renowned University of Ibadan. Afterwards, he proceeded to London in 1974 to study professional accountancy, and he qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Certified Accountants, in London, in 1980. He began his academic and professional education with a B.Sc. Degree in Chemistry and Geology from the renowned University of Ibadan in1973. He became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, London in 1979, and graduated from the Chartered Institute of Cost Management Accountants in 1982.
He was employed in London and was transferred to the Lagos office as a Senior Internal Auditor by the Shell Petroleum Development Company Nigeria from 1980 – 1983; he moved to the Yinka Folawiyo Group as Group Finance Controller from 1983 to 1988.
The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture, Ibadan employed him as the Finance Manager between 1988 and 1994,from where he was then appointed as the Executive Director – Finance and Admin by Oilscan Limited, Port harcourt from 1994 to 2001.
He joined Niger Delta Exploration& Productivity Plc as the Group Financial Controller in 2003 and was appointed as the Group Finance Director in 2012. He retired from this position in December 2015.
He served as the Finance Director at ND Western Limited from 2012 to 2022 and retired in January 2022.
Pastor Balogun has been a Non – Executive Director of Fewchore Finance Company Limited Since 2018 to date.
Dr. Mukaila Abiodun Gbadamosi – Independent Director
Dr. Abiodun is a dynamic and influential leader with over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, including commercial and retail banking, corporate banking, operations, branch management, relationship management, consumer banking, project management, credit and operational risk management, and internal audit. During this period, he held various positions, including serving as a pioneering non-executive director of Stanbic IBTC Insurance Brokers Limited {2014 – 2017} as well as Chairman of the board of directors {2015 – 2017}
He recently retired as the Regional Director {West} in the Standard Bank Group {parent company of Stanbic IBTC Bank} when he also doubled as the Regional Chief Audit Executive responsible for five countries {Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Angola and Mozambique. While holding these positions, he was attending the Board Audit Committee {BAC} of these five different countries as well as accountable to the Board Audit Committee of the Standard Bank Group.
His focus remains on adding value to organizational development and strategic business growth. His commitment has led him to pursue a doctoral degree in this area. After completing his doctoral studies in July 2022, he was excited to join a strategic board membership that would enable him to bring his experience to help grow the organization. Abiodun earned a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Sociology / Anthropology as well as an MBA in Management Accounting, all from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, located in Ile – Ife, Osun State. Additionally, he holds a Master of Philosophy {MPhil} in Business Administration from Babcock University, Ilisan Remon and a Doctor of Philosophy {PhD} from the same university.
He is a fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria {ICAN} and the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN]. He is also an honorary member of the Retail Banking Academy, London.
Mr. Zakariya Olanrewaju Anofi – Non – Executive Director
Olanrewaju has over 20 years of work experience as a consultant and finance professional, with vast knowledge spanning the financial services, insurance, oil and gas, and construction industries.
As a finance expert and seasoned administrator, he has served in various capacities, such as Head of Treasury, Head Internal Audit, Finance Manager, providing leadership and direction in corporate governance, project management, tax audits and investigations, business process reviews, fund management, and revenue generation across key sectors of the economy.
Olanrewaju holds a Master of Social Science degree in Financial Management from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, UK and a Bachelor degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brooks University, UK.
He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria {ICAN}, a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Accountants, {ACCA}, UK and a registered accountant with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria.
Having attended several training, workshops, and conferences both locally and internationally, he is currently the Executive Director, Finance and Administration at Makon Engineering and Technical Services Limited. He also serves as a non-executive director on the board of ITC Advisory Services.
Dr. Ademola Quadri Adetunji – Non – Executive Director
Ademola Adetunji is a senior mineral exploration research scientist with the Mineral Exploration Research Center at Laurentian University, Sudbury, Canada. His career focuses on using geophysical methods to map variations in subsurface geophysical properties and understand the processes that have formed, deformed, and preserved the Earth. He obtained his Ph.D degree at the University of Manitoba in Canada where he studied the Precambrian Supoerior and Grenville provinces of Canada for mineral potential and tectonic history. He has taught various aspects of geophysics at the undergraduate and graduate levels in universities around the world.
Ademola has significant experience in the acquisition, modeling, and interpretation of multiphysics/integrated geophysical data for groundwater, environmental, geothermal, mineral, petroleum, and tectonic targets/investigations in Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Canada.
Mr. Kazeem Olabanji Ige – MD/CEO
Mr. Kazeem Ige has demonstrated excellent skills and knowledge in various areas, including sales and marketing of financial products and services, capital markets, business development, customer relationship management, general administration, and facility management.
He obtained a Bachelor’s and Master of Science degree in accounting from Ladoke Akintola University and the University of Ibadan respectively. In addition, he holds a postgraduate diploma in Islamic Finance from the Institute of Islamic Banking and Insurance, London and an MBA from the University of Ado – Ekiti.
Kazeem is a distinguished fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria {ICAN}, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers of Nigeria {ACIS}, a Certified Islamic Professional Accountant, Certified Shari’ah Auditor and advisor (CIPA & CSAA) of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Finance Institutions Bahrain.
He has had an impressive career trajectory, beginning with his early experience in the accounts department of the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture {IITA}. He then took on the role of Head of Finance & Control at Magnartis Finance and Investment Limited, bringing his financial expertise to the company.
In 1994, Mr. Ige joined Outsourcing Services Limited {G4Securicor} as an accountant, demonstrating his adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges. This led to his successful transition into the banking industry, starting with Stanbic IBTC as a branch manager in 2006 and quickly rising to the position of Head of Distribution Planning in 2008. He retired from Stanbic IBTC as the Head of Non-Interest Banking for the Southern Nigerian Zone to join the business he co-founded as the Chief Executive Officer at Harmony Global Asset Management Limited. He is currently the MD/CEO of Harmony Breakthrough Finance Company Limited.
Mr. Ganiyu Alade Rufai – Executive Director – Finance & Accounts
Mr. Ganiyu Alade Rufai is an exceptional accountant with nearly three decades of valuable experience in efficiently managing financial operations.
He has a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from the esteemed Polytechnic Ibadan and a Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife. Moreover, he is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria {ICAN}, an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (ACIT}, a Cerfified Forensic Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, and a Certified Islamic Finance Executive {CIFE] of the Ethica Insitute of UAE. His impressive credentials and extensive experience make him a valuable asset to any organization.
He began his career with the audit firm of ID Gbotosho and Company {Chartered Accountants} in 1989. He moved on to work with P.O. Akindele & Company as an Audit Assistant in 1994 and he later joined Adenusi & Company in 1995 as an Audit Senior where he rose to the position of Audit Manager. He was at Crusader Insurance Nigeria Plc as Head of Group Life Accounts between 2001 and 2003. He joined the employment of Aero Contractors Company of Nigeria as Head of the Management Information Department, he became the Finance Manager of the Company in the year 2003 and due to dedication and industriousness, was appointed as the Head of Finance in 2013, from where he retired in 2017.
He was a partner at Gafari Musiliyu and Company {Chartered Accountant} from May 2017 until 2020.
He joined the employment of Harmony Equity & Asset Management Limited in 2020 and was later appointed Executive Director of Harmony Breakthrough Finance Company Limited in March 2024.
Mr. Adebanjo Samson Owoade – Executive Director, Administration & Corporate Services.
Mr. Adebanjo Samson Owoade is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in management. His expertise spans strategic planning, budgeting, administration, human resources, and leading cross – functional teams. He is well – versed in corporate governance, facility management, and office administration, making him a valuable asset to any organization.
Adebanjo obtained a Higher National Diploma in General Agriculture from the Federal College of Agriculture, Akure, and went on to earn two Post Graduate Diplomas – one in Financial Management from Ondo State University, Ado – Ekiti, and another in Public Relations from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism, Ogba, Ikeja, Lagos. These qualifications have equipped him with a diverse range of skills and knowledge that will undoubtedly contribute to his personal and professional growth.
He has also pursued professional certifications to enhance his skills and expertise. He obtained the MCIB certification in microfinance from the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria [CIBN} and he is an Associate of the Institute of the Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria – ACIS; as well as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management – ACIPM. Furthermore, he has also earned the Certificate of Islamic Finance Executive {CIFE} from the Ethica Institute in the United Arab Emirates, demonstrating commitment to staying up – to – date with the latest industry trends and best practices.
Mr. Adebanjo Owoade initiated his professional journey in 1999 as an Executive Assistant with Safepoint Investment Company Limited, an esteemed finance & investment entity. In 2002, he was promoted to the position of Manager, Operations & Administration, where he skillfully supervised three branch operations. Later in 2005, he joined RB Resources Limited { a subsidiary of Regent Bank Limited} as the Operations & Administration Manager and efficiently managed the bank’s outsourced staff. In 2007, he was appointed as the General Manager of Midland Bureau De Change Limited, licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
In 2020, he assumed the position of Executive Director, Administration & Corporate Services at Harmony Global Asset Management Limited. He excelled in this position and was subsequently appointed to the same role at Harmony Breakthrough Finance Company Limited.
